Consumers -Lebanon participated in the first edition of the Al-Ain Summer Market, these activities conducted under the framework of Prima Fusion_GA2431 EU project.
The Al-Ain Summer Market is a seasonal event organize by peace of art international organization aimed at supporting small businesses, empowering local entrepreneurs, and promoting diverse products and services in an open and community-based environment. We participated in the Al-Ain Summer Market as representatives of the Consumer Association, with our contribution focusing on public awareness regarding reducing food waste especially for vegetables and fruit and we welcomed a large number of visitors daily from various age and gender groups.
These activities held on Friday and Saturday, July 25–26, 2025, with several other local associations and farmers. The market was distinguished by its fresh, organic, and healthy products, in addition to household goods and handicrafts.
Its goal was to support the agricultural and economic sectors in the North of Bekaa by promoting sustainable development.
