The Consumers Lebanon participated in the *Khairat Ardi* exhibition in Nabatieh – Rivoli Mall, on 5-6 September, in confirmation of the importance of community awareness in food waste.
Through its participation, the Association stressed the importance of preserving vegetables and fruits, and not wasting them, because of its economic, health and environmental impact. Properly storing these products or converting surplus to useful products such as *sam* or *dried fruits*, is a practical step to reduce waste and promote a culture of responsible consumption.
